Bison Panel FAQs

q) How can the Bison Panels be finished? Can the bison panels be painted or laminated?

a) Bison panels can be painted with any kind of paint like emulsion, distempers etc. The process of painting is similar to that for wall i.e. cement/wood primer coat followed by a coat of paint. Alternative to painting is to laminate the bison board using any decorative laminates or wood veneer. Generally, its advised, to have both the sides laminated to provide any imbalance, or at-least have the non-laminated side painted.  In fact, even tiles can be laid on bison panels!!

q) Can bison panels be nailed or screwed?

a) Yes, like any other board or plywood, bison panels can be nailed directly onto the support like timber. Likewise, any wood screw or self-tapping screw can be used to fix the bison panels.

q) What is the recommended thickness for bison panel?

a) Thickness depends upon the application, suggested thickness for different applications is given in the table below:,h_484,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01/bbc491_f58b5436d5834986bfec1ba8a17a1957.jpg

q) What is the weight of these boards?

Having cement in it does make these boards heavy, as compared to other boards like plywood. The weight of each sheet is given in the table below:,h_376,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01/bbc491_22ee021916ee4cbc9e829b8969eaafd2.jpg
